RazorChain helps businesses with predictive analytics, business intelligence, modeling, simulation, optimization, and creating custom decision support tools.
Founder Jonathan Fleck has worked full time for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Reebok, Oracle, and a Berkshire Hathaway business unit. He has successfully planned over 3 billion of dollars in business leading to happier customers, investors, employees, and suppliers. In addition, Jonathan has delivered training on these topics to over 500 professionals worldwide at companies that include Motorola, Agilent Technologies, Juniper Networks, NREL, Johns Manville and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. He has also supervised projects at Lucent, W.R. Grace, Unilever, Shaw's Supermarkets and Reebok. Basically, we help businesses achieve data driven decisions by any means necessary- software, training, or consulting. The benefits of data driven decisions include: 1. Happy Customers: right product, place, price, and time. 2. Happy Investors: no surprises with revenue, margin, or growth. 3. Happy Employees: less delays, rework, and chaos. 4. Happy Suppliers: forecasts that quantify accuracy, bias, and risk. The name "RazorChain" is a nod to the increased need for sharp supply chain thinking (don't take my word for it- just notice that Steve Jobs chose Tim Cook, a "supply chain guy," to lead Apple). With a supply chain focus, RazorChain primarily helps product companies (engaged in manufacturing, distribution or both) that are either seasonal, fast product life cycle (technology, fashion), long lead time, capacity constrained, or facing variations of “one time buy” decisions. RazorChain projects may include integrated business planning & forecasting (IBP, SIOP, S&OP), resource allocation (people, time, capital), portfolio analysis, inventory management, and network optimization (production, distribution, logistics total lowest cost). In addition, the same decision engineering techniques are applicable for Finance, Marketing, Product Management, and other areas. |
